Print a List of Shortcut Keys

Summary: It is sometimes handy to have a printed list of shortcut key assignments. Here's how to get one very easily.

Word allows you to assign your own shortcut keys to invoke styles or initiate macros. At some point you may want to print out a list of the assignments you have made. This is handy to keep near the computer as a quick-reference guide. To print such a list, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Office button and then click Print. Word displays the Print dialog box. (Click here to see a related figure.)
  2. Using the Print What drop-down list, select Key Assignments.
  3. Click OK. Word prints the desired list of shortcut keys.
